Houston has come out of retirement to return to the New York Knicks after two
years away from the NBA.
New
recruit Kevin Garnett scored 19 points to help the Boston Celtics beat the
Toronto Raptors 89-85 in a pre-season game in Rome on
Saturday.
There is
a renewed determination about the Miami Heat as they begin their pre-season
training camp this week and coach Pat Riley is convinced that last season's
disappointments are behind his team.
Number
one overall draft pick Greg Oden said on Thursday he was heartbroken about
missing the entire NBA season because of injury but vowed to become the best
benchwarmer possible.
LeBron
James led the underdog Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA finals last season and the
